Copy a hairstyle
Copy a hairstyle puts a hairstyle you love onto a photo of you, so you can see whether it suits you before you go to the salon. Add your photo and a picture of the hairstyle: a screenshot or one of the app's hair ideas. It copies the cut, colour and styling and keeps your own face.

What it is good for
You see a hairstyle online or on a friend and wonder how it would look on you. A cut or colour that suits one face can look different on another. See it on your own photo first: a pixie before you cut long hair, copper curls before a big colour change, or old Hollywood waves for a wedding. Then show it to your hairdresser. In Ideas, Try it on me on a hair idea opens Copy a hairstyle with its picture already added.
Tips for your two pictures
For your photo, face a window in daylight, with your whole face and as much of your hair as you can in the frame. Wear your hair loose, not tied back or under a hat. If you cover your hair, a photo at home with it uncovered shows the change. For the hairstyle, choose a clear picture of the whole style, in good light and without a colour filter.
What it does not do
It is a preview made by AI, to help you decide before the salon. It copies only the hairstyle and adapts it to your head and hairline. It never takes the other person's face or features and never reshapes your face. Your skin tone, clothes, the light and the background stay as they are, and a head covering stays on. It names no brands and gives no hair-care, allergy or medical advice. A real cut or colour depends on your own hair and your salon.
Questions and answers
More answers in HelpCan I see a hairstyle from a picture on my own face?
Yes. Add a photo of yourself and a picture of the hairstyle, and Petalface puts the same cut, colour and styling on your photo, adapted to your head and hairline.
Will I end up looking like the person in the picture?
No. It takes only the hairstyle from the second picture, never that person's face or features. Your face, face shape, skin tone and expression stay as they are in your photo.
Does it copy the hair colour too?
Yes. It copies the cut, the colour and the styling together, so a picture of copper hair gives you copper hair. To try only the cut, choose a picture of the style in a colour close to your own.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan makes 3 designs a day, each with a small watermark, and Pro makes up to 50 a day without it. Each hairstyle you copy counts as one design.
