You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the app, from the web, or by email. Petalface is run by Lucero Studio, who is responsible for your data.
In the app
- Open Petalface and go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at https://app.petalface.com with the same account.
- Open Profile, choose Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you cannot sign in, write to support@petalface.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within one month and tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile.
- Everything you uploaded or made, and everything else stored under your account.
- Your purchase history with our payments provider, RevenueCat.
- If you signed in with Apple and delete your account in the iPhone or iPad app, Petalface's access to your Apple ID is revoked. If you delete it on Android or on the web, remove Petalface yourself: on an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, choose Petalface and stop using your Apple ID with it (or do the same at account.apple.com).
What we keep
- Usage data (the events the app sent while usage data was shared, and the profile our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps for them): for up to 7 years, the retention period of our PostHog plan (PostHog's retention periods). It carries your account's random identifier, never your email or name.
- Crash and error reports in our error reporting service, Sentry: for at most 90 days (Sentry's retention periods).
- Apple's and Google's own records of your App Store or Google Play purchases, under their policies.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting records, for as long as it requires.
- Copies of the photos and designs that OpenAI, which makes the designs, received for your designs: for up to 30 days to check for abuse, unless the law requires it to keep them longer or it needs them to deal with harm (OpenAI's data controls).
- Copies of the photos and designs that WaveSpeed, which makes some designs while we finish moving, received for your designs: its privacy policy sets no fixed period for them. It keeps data as long as it needs to provide its service, with backup copies for a limited time (WaveSpeed's privacy policy).
Cancel your subscription first
