What it is good for

Use it while you grow your hair out: see a short cut grown to Chest length, or long hair down to Waist length. It also helps before you buy extensions or ask a stylist for more volume. If your hair is fine and lies flat, try Full or Extra full volume. Show the picture you like to your stylist.

Tips for your photo

Take a vertical photo at arm's length, with your face, your shoulders and as much of your upper body as you can in the frame: the new length needs room to show, and hair that falls below the frame cannot be seen. Wear your hair down and loose. If you cover your hair, take the photo at home with your hair uncovered. Face the camera or turn slightly, in soft daylight from a window. Skip filters and beauty modes.

What it does not do

It makes a picture: a preview to look at before you grow your hair or go to the salon. It changes only how long and how full your hair is. It keeps your hair's colour and texture and your hairline, along with your face, your skin and its depth, your clothes, the light and the background. It never reshapes your face. If your hair is covered, the covering stays on as it is. Real results depend on how your hair grows, or on extensions and the salon, so treat the picture as an idea, not a promise. It names no brand and gives no hair-care or medical advice.

How can I see what longer hair would look like on me?

Add a photo of yourself with your hair down, then choose a Length and a Volume. Petalface shows your own hair at that length, in its own colour and texture.

What is the difference between Natural, Full and Extra full?

Natural keeps the volume your hair has now at the new length. Full makes it thicker and fuller, and Extra full adds the most volume, starting at the roots.

Can I see what my hair would look like with extensions?

Yes, as a preview: choose the Length and Volume you have in mind and see them on your own photo before you buy extensions or book the salon. Real extensions look different depending on the hair they are made of and on who fits them.
